Companion Mods

These mods are distributed in the same archive as the main mod. They are optional.

Prop blur mod (CCM)

z_aerosoft-twin-otter-propblur_mod mitigates the "wagon wheel effect" by making the blurred prop phases more transparent, only for the close-up LOD, so screenshots taken from the outside at some distance still get the cinematic look.

Flat camera mod (Hobanagerik)

z_aerosoft-twin-otter-flat_camers replaces some of the default tilted camera views with flat views at the instruments.

Sound mod for Turbine Duke owners

charliebravo-soundmod-twin-otter-turbineduke replaces the default engine sounds and a few other effects with much better versions from the Black Square Turbine Duke.

You need to own the Turbine Duke and have it installed somewhere on your system. We don't distribute any part of the soundbank.

To activate the mod, you must run the install script in its folder and point it at your Turbine Duke folder. It will copy the soundbank and modify it in order to prevent collisions with the actual Turbine Duke.

Warning

Until the (separate) install script has been executed, this mod, too, will be inactive.
